My Personal Journey
Hi, let me introduce myself… I’m Lara, and I love being a celebrant !
After 25 years working in education as a teacher and trainer, I decided to take a rather large leap of faith and become a Celebrant in 2021. I am so glad I did !
There really is nothing like meeting wonderful people, creating personal, heartfelt ceremonies, that honour each of my client’s unique stories, getting to know them and their families, supporting through their ceremony journey, and then presenting their ceremony on the day.
My mission is to craft elegant, bespoke, beautiful celebrations whether it’s for weddings, funerals or anything in between, filled with warmth and sincerity, reflecting the individuality of every love story and life event, that I am privileged to officiate.
When I am not being a celebrant, I love to cook and bake, go for country walks, visit National Trust sites, and be with family and friends. I am also a Therapist, helping both children and adults feel better through the power of hypnotherapy.

Crafting Cherished Ceremonies
I make it my goal to get to know my couples and families, who have entrusted me to be their celebrant, and work alongside them with care and attention, to ensure that they get the ceremony they want.
I know that choosing the right celebrant is vital, because characters, rapport and relationship building matters a lot. I am happy to say, that all my wonderful couples, my lovely familes and clients have all been fabulous, and I have loved working with them and being their celebrant.
As an independent celebrant I make it my responsibility to be professional, qualified, insured, inclusive and friendly, to provide support and guidance where needed along the ceremony journey. My uniqueness is that, I really care !
