As an experienced and independant funeral celebrant in Sussex, I work with my client families, to I create personal and meaningful funerals and memorial ceremonies that truly reflect and honour the life of a loved one.
Ceremonies which are full of the essence and character of each departed person, written and delivered with kindness and sincerity. At the heart of the funeral services and memorial ceremonies I officiate, my aim is to create a celebration for a loved one and a person’s life milestones, their achievements, their personality, and love for them.
A life lived should be celebrated with the right kind of ceremony and with the right celebrant. My ceremonies are designed to celebrate a person’s life, family, friends, through love and remembrance, with sincere warmth and respect.

Funeral Services
It’s a very difficult and sad time, and grief can be hard to bear. I understand that and so I work closely with families in a respectful, warm and sincere manner, to get to know their loved one; their charachter, life, achievements. I write beautiful and sincere eulogies and funeral scripts, that reflect their loved one’s life. My aim is to ensure a funeral service is not only a time to grieve and reflect, and say good-bye, but also a time to celebrate a life lived and loved.
Living Funerals
Some might like to plan their own funeral, and I think that is a great idea. Maybe you want your funeral your way to have some control over your passing, and how you want to say good-bye. Or maybe it’s to take the stress away from your family when you are gone. Ether way, I am here to help you.
We will work together to consider all of your ideas, wishes and messages for your final farewell and create a ceremony which says all of the things you want say and do. You may even wish to create a celebration of life which you can attend ,if you know the end is near. I will help with whatever you wish for.
Memorial Ceremonies
Whether your departed loved one had a direct cremation or it’s the anniversary of their passing, or it’s an opportunity to bring all the family together, a memorial ceremony is the perfect way to remember your loved one. This can be a gathering of family and frinds at home, in the garden or woodland location, or at a specially chosen venue, such as a village hall, a hotel or even a golf club or restaurant…whatever reflects your loved one the best.
A time to get together and to remember your special person in the way they would have loved, is a wonderful time. Some sadness, but also great joy and love.
